Winchester Creatives June 2017
Hey! Just so you know, this article is over 2 years old. Some of the information in it might be outdated, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm not saying it's not worth a read, but don't take everything in it as gospel. If you're curious about something, it never hurts to double-check with a more up-to-date source!
What is Winchester Creatives?#
Winchester Creatives is a fantastic event hosted in the middle of Winchester by 'Studio Republic'. With a great team and enthusiastic attendees, the night was a recipe destined for a relaxed and enjoyable time. With a sponsor from Stable, and six pizzas between the group of us, nobody was left hungry. For those who enjoy a drink and a chat, 'Studio Republic' were kind enough to put out a range of beverages. I would like to give massive thanks to Graham Orriss, who was a pleasure to speak to throughout the past month and he did a great job organising the event.
Fortunately, I had the opportunity to present on a topic that I feel passionate around. The presentation was on the subject of removing distractions from your lives and focusing on accomplishing the goals in your life. I aim to attend following Winchester Creatives meetups in the future and enjoy the atmosphere that I found at my talk. If anyone reading this post finds themselves in the area during a Winchester Creatives night, I highly recommend attending. If you'd like to give doing a talk a go, give them a shout! Email Graham at firstname.lastname@example.org or Tweet the event Twitter handle at @winchcreatives, where they post news and information whenever possible. They also hold these events on the first Tuesday of every month. Follow them on Twitter or Facebook to be kept up to date.
