Return of the Jack
Hey! Just so you know, this article is over 2 years old. Some of the information in it might be outdated, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm not saying it's not worth a read, but don't take everything in it as gospel. If you're curious about something, it never hurts to double-check with a more up-to-date source!
Woah, Jack is still around!? Yes, I can hear you in the back! So it's been quite a long time since I last posted on this website and a lot has changed! I have decided to take a step back from running a limited company and focus on my personal brand. After debating several new ideas, I've decided to finish what I started and continue with my existing brand. My company NoFace is very much still in business; however, I will be running it as a sole trader. For those of you that do not know what NoFace is, it is my design and development agency for digital solutions, in the form of both mobile apps and online websites. The reason I touch on my business is that I will be doing a lot more freelance work for other companies or for projects that I acquire as Jack Pritchard. That brings me on to my second change. I've recently changed my name from Jack Davies to Jack Pritchard as I am taking on one of my step parents family names. Following on from my graduation on BSc Website Design and Development with a 1st class honours awarded, I've continued my studies with a course in MA Creative Enterprise at Solent University, which I hope I can apply to my freelance business as well as share any information that I learn through with my YouTube channel. I will be documenting my journey as a website design and developer Freelancer through my YouTube channel WhatJackHasMade. Content on the channel will be similar to the previous material that I have uploaded including tutorials how-to guides with a strong focus on front-end development. As well as documenting my journey, I plan on releasing several mini-series videos where I interview other creative individuals who are running or planning on starting their own business. The majority of the individuals will be selected from my MA Creative Enterprise course provided that they are happy to be interviewed. So what can you expect to see? Hopefully, a complete revival in my brand and some exciting up-to-date content which will help you advance as a developer or inform you of business tactics you can apply as a freelancer.
